Practitioners will have the opportunity to find out more about two pioneering Reichert devices

Grafton Optical will give practitioners the chance to learn about two Reichert devices at 100% Optical this weekend (ExCeL London, 25–27 January).   The Ocular Response Analyser (ORA) G3 and the 7CR auto tonometer will be showcased on Grafton Optical’s stand, M16.

The company highlighted that the ORA G3 is the only non-contact tonometer to measure corneal hysteresis, which is an indicator of glaucoma progression.

Grafton Optical added that an increasing number of hospitals are now using the corneal hysteresis metric as a more reliable and objective measure of glaucoma progression.

The 7CR device incorporates corneal hysteresis to give a more accurate intraocular pressure reading, known as IOPcc (corneal compensated IOP).

This measurement is minimally affected by corneal visco-elastic properties, thickness or surgical procedures.

Chief executive of Grafton Optical, David Thickens, shared: “The ORA G3 and 7CR devices offer the perfect time and money saving solution to both hospitals and optometry practices and also provide patients with the absolute gold standard in tonometry care.”
